Top Half Of Sapling Is Dead

  1. Ok, so I recently transplanted a sapling into a container. Unfortunately, the top half, along with a few leaves and stems, had died and dried completely. I think I shocked it accidentally.

I know with certain plants, like bushes and such, that if you cut off dead parts, it re-grows shortly after.
Is this also true for my cannabis plant? Would it be a good idea to cut it off, or should I just let nature take it's healing course?
