Top flower on plant got burned

  1. So I was a little negligent adjusting my plant earlier today and when I rechecked it this evening one side of the main top flower was substantially burned (both leaves and calyxes (hairs)) from being too close to the top light which at the time was a Philips agro-lite 75 watt (way too hot!!!). Its since been replaced with a 30W (actual) CFL (100 incandescent). It's really only limited to one half of the very top bud. I'm on day 31 of flowering. Could this have lasting negative effects on the plant or is just that small section of the bud done for? FYI, I'll be completing this grow with only CFL's. I have over 100 W (actual) in CFL's on a single plant. I don't have a camera, but if I can obtain one I'll try to put some pics up. Thanks for any advice.

  2. It should not effect the rest of the plant. It should be localized to the bud that got burnt.
