I fucking love them. Just when i think I'm sick of them,i listen to them and change my mind. They're lyrical geniuses.

Tool is my absolute favorite band! I consider their music more of artwork than anything. Truly music gods!
Tool is one of the greatest bands in history. The above poem/hidden track from Undertow is quite unique in its own regard imo.
The Pink Floyd of our generation easily. They have that obscurity and genius to their music plus subtle things hidden within titles, lyrics, and in the timing. Truly a group of amazingly talented individuals.

lol I hope an ADTR fan didn't seriously call Tool overrated. This is why I have no hope or faith for the younger generation, once they are left to take over this world is really screwed.

adtr was cool when i was 16, grew out of it. to be honest, i haven't really listened to a ton of tool. I like a few songs, but I don't see what the obsession with them is. seriously, all of you - don't get butt hurt over music. grow up. everyone has a fucking opinion.
The music theory behind their songs, lyrical content, lots of cool hidden things within their songs. It helps to be a musician or just have a background in music theory to see the true genius but there is ALOT of work but into everyone of their albums and it's not just slapped together with no thought like a lot of bands do these days.
