Too much water? Not enough?

Discussion in 'Advanced Growing Techniques' started by Gringos, Jun 21, 2017.

  1. Hey guys so we just started our first ebb and flood process but some of the plants look to be droopy and others with yellow spots. We think it has to do with being a week behind on nutrients so no additives have been mixed in yet just the regular grow, micro and bloom. Could the appearance be from lack of water? Could it be from too much water? Not having additives or cal-mag? Any responses would be helpful thanks! [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

  2. Also we have only ran irrigation so far. And we've ran it constantly could that be the issue? On top of that question for ebb and flood do you only flood it once a day when the lights come on for like 15 minutes?

  3. If you got constant water going to them, then over watering is probably the culprit. Let the roots breath a bit before the next watering and in between each watering.

  5. We have kept a constant flow ever since the clones have entered the rockwools. With irrigation how long do you water them for? How long do you leave them off for? Thanks for any info! New to irrigation methods!

  6. Irrigation is jus your method of delivery. The plants still only drink so fast and rockwool retains water really well. So let them dry out jus a bit, but not completely. Then water again. Using a timer and some trial and error, you'll need to find the sweet spot for your specific plants.
