Too much smoking messing with emotions?

  1. I've been smoking for 7 years, and daily for about the last 6 months. Recently I've been feeling uninterested in most everything. I've had a pessimistic/numb feeling constantly, and nothing seems to make me happy anymore. It seems like smoking has become more of a coping tool than an enjoyable activity. Any tips?

  4. Yes. Stop smoking pot and see if sobriety is better. I have tried both. I'd rather be numb where nothing makes me happy anymore.
  5. Yeah, I've been there.
    I'm sure it varies, from person to person, but for me it was during a time in my life where I was a little bit lost, and smoking nugs (wayyy too much/often) became more of a primary objective rather than secondary to other things, as it always had been.
    I had to figure out what was important to me, and took somewhat of a break for a while, and started smoking again when things were in line, and it was more of a choice, then necessity, again.
    Ultimately, it came down to me realizing, as corny as it sounds, that moderation really is key. Getting super blitzed, all day, every day, really does get old, eventually.

  8. you're tolerance is really high, and i think it's having an effect on yourself somehow. I think you should take a tolerance break, even for just several days and post back
  9. I took a day off for the first time in months yesterday and smoked late today and I did notice a difference. I think I'll try to take a break though
