Too much light?

  1. I am reading on my light Meter 12kfc which I assume to be 12000 fc at the top of the foliage. From what I understand it's 12000 lumen per square foot. Is it too much for the plants? They look healthy though. The total area is 7 square feet. Is more light bad for the plants?

  2. Foot candles and lumens are different. You'd have to look up the conversion factor to convert the Kfc to lux (not lumens). If they are white lights, the conversion is pretty straightforward. I think the target is something like 50k to 70k lux at the canopy.
