Too much light or wasted electricity

    I plan on growing 24 plants in a aeroponic system. the size of the aero system is about 4' x 4' -= 16 sq ft. I have two 1000 watt HPS lights. Is using both of these lights just a waste of energy?

    for 16 sq ft yes,
    some may say the 1000w is excessive for 16 sq ft.

    you sure wont be short on lummens...good luck

    u need atleast 1 sq. ft. per plant so 24 plants wont work with that... and 1 of those lights would be good for 4' x 4'

    one light is fine, you could grow about fifty plants in a sog system (hydro) in a space like that! good luck
