Too late to lollipop?

  1. Bubblegum autos starting to get into flower. You can see I removed some of the lower stuff but I didn't think they would stretch this much
Should I take more off or will that just damage my yield at this point? PXL_20221020_071112184.jpg PXL_20221020_071122022.jpg PXL_20221020_071132898.jpg

  2. Hey dude ! I dont have experience with autos but taking in account what I have read about them it would be best to leave them alone and ride it out.

  3. This far in flower I wouldn't. Some will argue you can whioe others say autos are to finicky. This far in tho I'd let them ride or bend them gently. By the look of your plants it's gonna be a nice yield, congrats.

  4. Maybe some very selective and minor defoliation, though they might not really need much.
I would look for those fan leaves that are just not getting enough light to do any good, and pop them off. Won't be many. If you have a Luxx meter, anything getting less than about 6k is a candidate.

  7. Take a pair of pliers and while pulling the top over start crushing the stem where you want the bend. Crush 4 inches or more as you don't want a snap on an old stiff main stem. This will even out the canopy and let you get the best from the low power lighting. Tie her down as she will keep trying to stand back up.

I've used this trick for years to keep big lanky outside grown Sativa strains from topping the 6 foot wall and being seen from neighboring yards. I've crushed nearly the entire length of the main stem on Flowering plants and wrapped them in a huge C shape bringing the top almost full circle.

  8. looks like you did a fairly decent job of LST, especially for an auto. nice job.

  9. Yes I agree, I've grown a lot of auto's and if you want to super crop it go ahead, she will still produce good for you. The stem should be still soft enough to do it with your finger's. If the stem is hard and woodie I wouldn't do it, but my guess is she is still soft enough.

  10. I think I'm just going to leave it. The bud structure looks alright even on the lowest branches and I don't mind smaller buds anyways
At this rate I'll have smokable buds around Xmas
