Too early for LST?

Discussion in 'Hydroponic Grow Journals' started by indicouch401, Jun 7, 2019.

  1. So my plant is a couple days away from being a month old. 2 weeks in the DWC and it has been looking great. I'm going to change my water and nutrients out tonight and have updates of that. So my question is, is it too early to low stress train my plant? It's about 7" and sturdy along the stem. I've loaded some pictures of it for any feedback. Thanks in advance. 1559865507045.jpg 1559865545383.jpg 1559865563594.jpg

  2. Lower the light a bit
Yeah you can if you want.
With the skinny stems, if it were me, I'd top the main to stunt a bit and let it get bushier and stronger stems

  3. I just raised my light due to taco-ing of my leaves and they're getting better. Think I can top it now? I was thinking of waiting like 2 more nodes than topping and cloning the top. But thanks for the advice I'm going to start lst and top in a few days or is it better to top first?

  4. Better to LST, it dont stunt growth, but I top to make them into a small bush.
Reckon the heat was causing the taco? They just look a little stemmy to me. Usually at that height they are big as a cig.
