My room is getting cold when the lights go out, sometimes below 50F. Can the exhaust fan be shut off with the lights? Is a small heater that kicks in when the lights are off a good idea? Thanks! Peace love and light...
i use a heater to moderate my temperature. i got a little 30 dollar heater with a timer or a thermostat. i set mine at about 72 cuz when the lights are on the heat in the grow room will be about 78. and it will drop to 72 + wind chill from fan at night. i dont set it in the actual box though i have it in the same room though.
Just plug the exhaust fan into the same timer as the lights. I have all of my fans (intake and exhaust) on the same timer as the lights. Works great! Good Luck!
I have a similar situation. I was down to 40 in my room if the dead of winter. I have one of my two fans on a thermostat. I also keep my watering media inside my box to hold heat. In addition to the water I have some leftover ceramic tiles from a home project. I stack these around the pots and also under to adjust even heights. Goof luck!
