100 watt cfl for 14 dollars, must be legit cause the light output is 10,050 lumens Lights of America 100W CFL Replacement Bulb (92100B)
That is a replacement bulb and doesnt have a built in ballast, you cant just screw it into a regular light socket. You can get the same thing at the home depot for about the same price.
If you really want something nice and want to go out and get a ballist http://www.e-conolight.com/Product/EProductDetail.asp?ProductFamilyID=22&FGNumber=~HP999 26 bux for 1000w HPS with 140k lumens
Those high wattage CFLs can put out a LOT of heat, it could easily be too much for a space as small as a pc case, even with good ventilation.
well so far i have 1 26 watt and its pretty chilly in there as its in my basement. ill probly spread around like 4 26 watters 2 being 6500k and 2 being 2700k
The larger CFL bulbs are usually less efficient, and produce more heat per watt of light. In a tiny space, you are probably better off with a few smaller bulbs.
so how many watts should i do per bulb and how many bulbs, it seems like the 26 i have isnt giving off much heat
I saw a post on here somewhere saying 42 had a good watt/lumen ratio and didn't give off too much heat to handle with a simple fan.
yea i had one for my other grow and it didnt seem to hot but it randomly stopped working in like 2 or 3 days -___-
