Tomatoes and Red Sauses?

Discussion in 'Fitness, Health & Nutrition' started by bssarchives, Mar 17, 2016.

  1. So i've been analyzing my food intake, and I realized that for the past 8 years, tomatoes and foods containing red sauces (Pizza, Lasagna, Spaghetti etc..) takes up the majority or ATLEAST 60 percent of my diet. I'm talking ALOT. Is this bad? It's starting to make me wonder if this could cause some problems down the road. Can anyone give me some feedback? would it be useful to perhaps stop eating all red foods for say a month? or is my red food lifestyle perfectly healthy.

  2. You have a lycopene addiction. But fear not, it's a natural mellowing agent.

  3. Ride on, I'm gonna continue with my 2 pizzas a week lol. Just looking for an excuse to keep the pizzas coming :bongin:

  4. there's probably nothing unhealthy about tomato sauce itself. however, most of the foods that have red sauce are high in carbs.
