Tolerance

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by 954, Dec 15, 2010.

  1. Given that I started smoking on my birthday I can recall to the specific date when I started smoking... now 6 years later I can honestly say that I do not get as high as I once did.

Am I getting worse weed now than when i was 16?
Is this typical among short-long term smokers?
Can I expect to get less and less high I grow older?
Is there a way I can get more high?

  2. T-breaks brah

  3. Tolerance or not, your never really going to get as high as the first few times.. those were the days..

  4. So true man. The early weed days were glorious.

  5. ya even with a t break its not the same as losing your bud virginity

  6. holy shit you guys are so right... i remember the first time i blazed i was SOOOOO lit ....... those were def the best

  7. First time I smoked I cleaned my entire apartment head to toe for like 3 hours, I just couldn't stop for some reason.

  8. do t breaks really work?

  9. I may not be able to get the same exact highs but that has more to do with not knowing what to expect and such with the first couple of times, I still get blasted coming off a tbreak just like i did when i had no tolerance as a newbie

  10. take a seven month long t-break and say that :smoking::eek::hippie:

  11. Come to The Netherlands and smoke weed with me...trust me...you'll get high :smoking:

  12. why is this? i never really looked for the answer im guessing someone on here knows

  13. thats what im trying to figure out

  14. ^i think it's cause you know what to expect

  15. very true my friend you already know the high and what its like and whats gona happen its nothing new anymore.

first time i smoked everything was so exhilarating i think i said WOW a total of 30 times. well not exactly my first maybe my 3-4

  16. yeah i mean you can pretty much kill your tolerance with a long enough break and the effects will obviously be much much more intense, but still, won't be like that first experience, just cause the first experience catches ya off guard almost, you know? you can't really prepare for that, while afterward you can

  17. Yeah, the first experience is the most intense because you don't know what it will be like. However, after a good t break, I can still get pretty baked:)

I am still very disappointed that the first time high shouldn't be expected to ever return again. The first few times I smoked, I loved every single thing about everything. Now I'm a daily smoker and it's really no big deal at all. My plan is to start smoking a whole lot but only once a week and see if this helps. I'm pretty sure it will get me as close as possible to my first time.

  19. Yea sadly just a tbreak :/ I just started noticing my tolerance buildup :( btw what part of the 954 are you in?
