Tolerance question.

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by beachac, Mar 21, 2010.

  1. Alright, so I've gotten to the point where I've been smoking quite a bit without any real T-breaks. Naturally my tolerance has built up, and I don't get as high anymore. The other day I had a joint of some low grade mids and it honestly felt like a cigarette buzz.

BUT, it seems that if I smoke enough, (of anything grade, really) I still have the potential to get as high as I did when I first started smoking.

Now my question to you guys is - how exactly is tolerance supposed to work in conjunction with different strains of weed in addition to the amount smoked?

  2. I just got done with a almost two week tolerance break on friday night and damn it was worth it.

  3. I don't think it matters the strain as much as the quantity. If you smoke daily, you're gonna build up a tolerance weather you're smoking shwag, mids, or chronic. If you find yourself getting burned out, just take a T break for a week or so. You'll notice the difference ;)

  4. if you're smoking dank it will build your tolerance faster than mids/regs and schwag.

i also think you can build a tolerance to a specific strain if you are smoking it long enough. for example, this past summer i was smoking some NYC diesel for 2 or so weeks because that's all i could get. after about a week it wasn't getting me as high as it used to. once my guy got a new strain (GDP) i was getting wrecked again.

and of course, the more you smoke and the more often you smoke will raise your tolerance.
