tolerance, physical and psychological?

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by Sceaspit11, Jul 11, 2015.

  1. so... marijuana tolerance.. how much of it is dependent on physical factors...? such as sensitivity of cannabinoid inhibitors and/or flush rates, thc levels in blood, etc. what about psychological factors? like maybe just perceiving that you aren't as high because you're so used to being really high for prolonged periods of time to the point where other high's feel inferior?

of course, there are much more factors, variables, dependancies, etc.
but what do you guys think? is there some sort of patterns / actions / changes that you've became conscious of?

Been studying this shit extensively for 6 years. Been smoking for 9.
When speaking of tolerance in regards to marijuana usage, it's mostly all physical. It's what happens when your receptors are drained and used out like an old tire.. But unlike an old tire, these receptors can rejuvenate themselves from rest.

The bigger issue is excessive marijuana usage causes seratonin and dopamine lvels *WHEN NOT HIGH* to drop below baseline. Which is why people feel demotivated to do shit..a nd just feel like smoking again and again..

Well who should be worried about ^^^ that? The people who smoke all day long and don't have much other activities and "rewarding" factors in their life.. and have been doing so for many years.

To get your normal levels of dopamine and serotonin back. from a few year binge. you need at least 1 year tolerance break. (I speak based off experience and extensive research.. the kind of research that's easier found in actual lab reports and studies iof the physical form, rather than digital media (ie: internet )

See, unlike most smokers... I'm never in denial of these facts.. Because I've experience it, know others who have and done the research.
----------------------------------------------

Just ask yourself this: If so many people think weed benefits their happiness, why do they constantly need to smoke it? Would you rather be high off life and enjoy marijuana recreationally or require marijuana daily just to feel happy?

We must always remind ourselves that THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is a psychoactive compound. What does this mean? It means it alters brain function.

THC is a beautiful cannabinoid, no doubt... But it has its negatives too..a nd it's not the ONLY cannabinoid in marijuana. There are several.. But since us humans don't know too much about what the others do (besides CBD, which counteracts psychosis), we focus on THC.. and as time has went on, the ratio between THC and CBD has grown larger and farther apart.. Which is not a bad thing.. It just means weed is alot more mind altering than it was before with less of the benefits of CBD which holds more true medicine potential than THC on illnesses of the mind and is the component that counteracts the paranoia, psychosis, delusion, anxiety and the "stupid high" of THC..

  3. I want to follow up about edibles.. Edibles don't drain your dopamine and seratonin receptors the same way that smoking does.. because its super sustained onset.. where-as smoking is just a rush of sudden THC.. almost like a virus/attack on your system... but intended to get you high
