tolerance break

Discussion in 'Experienced Cannabis Enthusiasts' started by tmax, Jan 8, 2007.

  1. ive got to the point where it takes a large amount to get me high. i smoke several times a day and have been doing so for the last year or so. im planning on taking a 4 or 5 day break. how long of a break do you guys usually take? does it help?

  2. varies from person to person. everyone builds resistance to substances differently... alcohol, painkillers, etc...

try a few days and see how it goes. what works for you might not work at all for someone else.

  3. week long breaks are usually good for like 2 or 3 sesh's of being super high, then it's just back to normal. if you smoke that much, it's possible that you might have to take like a month off to get that kinda effect, but that's just a guess. i smoke like 4 times a week most of the time and i took a week long break and it was sweet, but if you smoke every day then you might have to break for a month.

  4. If you want to get as high as you used to, then I'd suggest taking a month or two break. But still get ahold of some nice headies, put it in a stash jar and wait until you're ready to blaze.

  5. I am in the exact same boat. It sucks. I don't want to quit, I have oz's of flavors, no shortage of dank buds here. Don't really matter though cause the weed isn't having much of any effect at all. Smoking or eating herb is just a waste of good money and ganja at this point. Take a break, at least a week, probably more like a month. Easier friggin said then done though I'm afraid. Hang in there.
