I hate that the law has any say in the personal choice of these people with regard to the use of cannabis as a medicine.

The no lady is clearly sold on the idea that marijuana has no medical benefit. Of course it does. People like that lady are unable to separate their perspective from their bigotry toward marijuana and people who use it.

 

Thought this was another baby using their irresponsible parent's marijuana that they left lying around. Glad I was wrong.

Somehow in society's eyes, if a CHILD needs MMJ, it suddenly makes it okay. But not for adults, no no no.

Fuck this bitch. I understand keeping kids off of drugs, but why not fight your fucking battles elsewhere? These people are fucking MEDICAL marijuana patients.

I have a lot of respect for the parents who did this. If I had a choice between giving my child half a medicated muffin and a fist full of pills, and they had the same beneficial effect, but the muffin was extremely safer, I would go with the cannabis muffin every time. Who wouldn't?

Sure, let's pretend all of those opinions she stated were true. Compare those to getting your child addicted to a narcotic pain killer. Compare those side effects to the hallucinations that child was having. Or compare those side effects to the 40 days that child went without eating anything solid because of the chemotherapy.

I feel bad for the little guy. The bitch against weed is to busy chugging down beers in the local pub. She just mad because no dealer will sell her dumb ass bud.

Regardless of the dumb bitch in the video (c'mon it's CNN, what did you expect other than "opposing sides"?), I thought the story was excellent and could easily be used as a continuing catalyst in the justification of MMJ for people in need, not just "adults" in need.

And any Doctor adhering to their code of ethics would see it as "people" too. This is about saving lives, and when it comes to that, I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6, especially when it came to my own children.

If I ever met this Father, I would gladly shake his hand and say "Thank You, for doing what you feel is right for your child."

The kid probably doesn't feel the high if the parents are properly medicating him. The point of the cannabis for medical use is to make you feel better, not really to make you feel high. With a lot of the pain and other side effects he's experiencing from the recent surgery and chemotherapy, the medication probably just makes him feel like a normal kid.

Of course, that's if his parents are properly medicating him.

 

I'll be honest, I'm normally against kids using marijuana. I entered the thread thinking it'd just be a fucked up kid in a fucked up family. So glad to be wrong. Can people seriously watch stuff like this and still be against mmj?

 

Is there any research that proves marijuana interferes with brain development?

 

I heard that MJ before age 14 may cause problems, but I have friends that have toked since age 6, most of them are normal..

Hell yeah, straight outta Missoula too, only 400 miles away from me haha, dumb lady however... i admit no one under the age of 14 should be toking... but if a lil kid can have his edibles, let him do so... especially if it's treating his disease.
