The hubby and I had to go to the "big city" today to straighten out his SSI claim (again!). While we were there, I went to the local market, and it was FULL of high school students. One of them, an obvious stoner kid, was eating his chocolate cake in the store (there's a snack bar/deli) as he was walking out, exclaiming how delicious it was. I smiled and said, "Did you know chocolate has a small amount of anandamide that acts just like THC in your brain?" The kid did a double take at me, a dumpy, housewifey old lady. "Tell me more!" I get mine from PubMed. That study also reported that using cocaine lessened the chances of getting this cancer! Did you know that testicular cancer is RARE! Only about 1 out of every 250 men will get it during their life. It also has a good cure rate. Compare that with breast cancer...1 in every 8 women will get it! And 15% of them will have the aggressive "triple negative" breast cancer. CBD from marijuana can cause those cancerous cells to revert back to NORMAL! Me- So the FACTS don't matter to you? How interesting! And I have experienced and seen what cannabis can do. I am a MMJ patient. Some 60 years ago, I was almost murdered by another child with a hammer. I ended up with migraines from it. My childhood was marred by frequent migraines. Daily cannabis use prevents them. I haven't had a migraine since I started using cannabis on a daily basis. I am in my mid-60s and cannabis eases my mild arthritis pain. But that's just me. I have watched the tremors of Parkinson's lessen as a lady I knew, smoked her little pipe of cannabis. Another friend, long ago, was able to cut his epilepsy medication to less than half, and still be seizure free as long as he had his pot... the seizures came back whenever he ran out! A third dear friend suffers from Isaac's Syndrome and cannabis makes her life a bit more bearable. And there have been many others. So yes, I have observed and come to the conclusion (one that is backed by medical science) that cannabis IS an effective herbal medicine for a wide range of ailments! You should read what I posted, Jeb! The first one was just plain fun, and the second shows you how to deal with prohibs and, hopefully, inspires you to start commenting in the news so we can convince that prohib MINORITY of voters that cannabis is good!!
