how much difference will going from my super hps light bulbs over Mh ones for my veg cycle? at moment plants not seem to want to grow upward with the super hps lights. i do have convertible balast to run either hps or mh bulbs. Just want to know how much difference the bulb switch would make since super hps are fruiting spectrum mainly with some blue spectrum thrown in.
MH is generally used for Veg while HPS is generally used for flowering. You can however do a complete grow with just a HPS. If you are not getting growth then maybe you have a different underlying problem rather than a lighting issue.
no growth could mean overwatering.if you have a conv ballast you might as well use the bulb that veg prefers which is the MH blue spectrum..def cant hurt thats what i veg under
ty for info but yes water table has been an isue . using hydroton in eb flow system 10 net pots every 3 hrs an 15 mins seems ok at moment i was at every 2 hrs an plants didnt like that
