My plants encountered an issue. They wound up with brown big burn marks and even some yellow dead leaves. Some leaves on one plant are still green but are drooping to the max and have a big brown "scar" or burn (it wasn't nute burn though). I gave the plants nutrients and now the new growth is coming in healthy and fast. On one plant only the lower leaves are yellow and burned and there is literally 8 new small leaf sets/bracnhes growing healthy. Should I cut off these leaves? Should I leave the burnt ones that still have green on them? To see some pictures just look at my problem thread (already fixed though). http://forum.grasscity.com/sick-plants-problems/1008008-problem-solved.html#post13936856
Bump!!! I have also had this problem with my week 1 veg crop. I HAVE trimmed these deadish yellow brown dry leaves off (not many) and wanted to know if this is ok lol 420
When you leave a dead leaf on the plant the plant is still wasting energy trying to recover and feed that leaf even though there is no hope. If you trim It most likely something will come back, and unless you have seen improvement in the leaf/branch I would cut it off
