Years ago I was fortunate enough to enjoy some very good hash oil. It had the consistency of honey. You only needed a small drop on top of a bowl and you were all set. I am curious if anyone has a recipe to make this. I have seen some tutorials on this but it never seems to work for me. I think it is done in some sort of QWISO fashion but it hasn't worked for me. I always end up with a black tar like substance which is OK but not what I am really looking for. I forgot to mention that the stuff we used to get looks almost clear. I know it is often referred to as honey oil. Just curious if anyone out there knows the correct way to make it. On another note thanks to all of you for the great recipes on this site for other hash making techniques they are very good
dont shake your qwiso for so long and it wont be so dark, the more time the alchohol is in contact with the weed the more you will get, but with less quality, so if you shake it for a small amount of time you will get less but it will be very high quality.
I am sure it was honey hash oil made with butane. You can look up how to make it on your tube, but for God's sake do it outside so you don't blow up your house. I just made 8 grams last night, and 3 the night before.
I think you're right about me soaking it too long the last time I tried. I have read the tutorials here and that's one of the main things everyone seems to stress. Unfortunately I hadn't read them before I tried this about a year a go. Everyones hash product on here seems to be more of a solid base. I don't understand what someone does to get more of the honey or oil consistency.
Thanks gardenmaster. It seems to me maybe it's the butane that helps the consistency. I will try that and don't worry I know better than trying this inside
It is most likely BHo, but a very nice refined QWISO is what you are looking for. And as far as consistency, get it warm it melts, freeze it you get glass. SO look more into BHO and or budder
