To experienced user/growers - Strain identity

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by chthonianhealer, Nov 8, 2010.

  1. Newbie here. I'm trying to identify what it was I used (it was someone else's herb - I no longer am around this person).

It was some amazing stuff that had "bells and whistles." First effects were relaxation that wiped out my fatigue, straightened up my posture and woke up my brain. I had been pretty tired. Second effects were seeing the humor in what was going on, laughing, joking. At some point along the way I felt the "buzz" crawling down into my legs like little contractions - not unpleasant, just unusual. The real "bells and whistles" were that I began to actually see electric bluish 'sparkles', little lines moving around my body. I knew I was seeing the healing energy of this herb. I was fascinated. I felt really aware yet settled into my body more than in a long time. I felt like I'd been initiated into some special world-wide group of people using this herb.

I also noticed that this variety tended to chill my sex drive and cool my hands/feet/limbs. The next day I was very relaxed, even lethargic until I took some Licorice root to get going. I felt peaceful and easy for two days afterwards, especially when outdoors.

I've had plenty of herb since then, mostly okay, some bad, but nothing like this one. I don't recall a particular aroma - skunky or piney - but I do recall the smoke being very cool, a bit icy-hot like menthol, but more subtle.

I want to know if this was a mix (indica:sative ratio), or due to the features of a particular strain, or was it bud that had been cured properly for a few days after drying?

  2. sounds to me like you smoked some super plasma sasquatch

this bud is 85.7% sativa, and 34% indica

85.7% and 34%? im calling bullshit on the grounds that your percentages are fucked.

anyways that sounds like a 9:1 sativa:indica hybrid that grew to it's peak and cured long enough but not perfectly.

did you see the bud before it was ground up? depending on how precisely the sugar leaves were trimmed you can tell the experience of the harvester.

  4. Wow that's really specific! I'll have to look it up.

I thought that it had to be much more sativa in ratio. Once I got enough of it that evening, I was "up" and busied myself with kitchen tasks. But it was very body-oriented as well until it really hit my head. I was very relaxed and in touch with my tastes - reached for some Green Tea to drink and could immediately feel I did not need it.

Hmm... I don't find that variety listed anywhere, but here on this forum
where you say it isn't real.

  5. haha srry i was just letting you know in a humorous way that its extremely hard if not impossible to be able to tell you all of this without a picture or smoking it ourselves:D

  6. nobody is going to be able to tell you exactly what strain you smoked but from what you described i would think it is a sativa dominant hybrid.

  7. I understand. Sativa dominant is good enough info for me. I suspected that. I'm still learning, and no, I don't recall what the bud looked like.

    Thanks for all your responses.
