Registered mail tracking USPS# contain incorrect dates/addresses Grasscity Support Feb-07-11 • Announcements For customers who have their parcels shipped with registered mail, please be aware that it is possible you will receive incorrect tracking info. We work with a USPS tracking database numberset that needs to be rotated every 12 months, so tracking numbers can be recyclable. However USPS has not done this, so the tracking information we get from USPS, and the information that is shown in your account or emailed to you, can possibly show as if you order arrived two years ago on a different address!! We understand the inconvenience this results in, however the shipping method as such does not differ and your "registered' order actually ships with a different status than regular mail and still needs to be signed for upon delivery and is insured against theft. We are working with our shipper and USPS to solve this problem asap. Please note that we cannot compensate your for wrong feedback we get back from USPS, and for all new orders we advise you to choose regular international shipping instead of registered international shipping, until we can confirm this problem is solved.
