Tips on photographing buds

    I was just wondering what techniques/tricks you guys use to get the nice pics of buds. I have found out personally using a black background gets a better clearer pic of the crystals, but i still cant get a really detailed pic of my buds. Do i need a awesome camera to do it?

    (i have a digital camera with zoom and macro im just looking for better ways to capture my kb)

    Youl probably need some sort of camera with adjustable focus(or a digital camera with the macro setting). Also, if you have it, try playing around with the different apature settings.

    One big thing about macro photography is using a tripod, since your photographing something so close up, the shaking of your hand will make it hella blurry, so i recommend a little tripod(they usually come with higher end digital cameras anyway)

    I might have to whip out the ol' SLR and see what kind of bud shots i can get

    i got a new camera and im gonna pick up today or tomorrow so ill probably get baked and have a go off and post a whole photo shoot up here

    Make sure you have enough light, and a good solid background. black or white is nice, long as you supplement the light correctly.

    Take lots of pictures! The more you take, the better the chance you'll take a good one :)

    the moreyou take the better the chances of a good shot...thats my theory.

    thats a good idea for a tripod, i guess i never thought of that because im always high on whatever im taking pictures of :smoking:
