Okay the name of this thread was completely random. I looked over and saw my old mighty mouse book bag.., Anyway. Im just finishing up my 1st ever grow and am soooo excited. Now i do have some afghan kush in a 1gal pot and a bag seed in dwc. Im currently sexing my dwc so if its a girl ill keep her where she's at. If not ill chop and then switch the afghan kush to dwc from soil and see how it goes. But thats still not what im here to talk about. I have germinated some bag seeds 4 to be exact. Unknown Strain. I presoaked the rockwool in 5.5 pH'd solution of distilled water and B-1 red thrive alive. Then dipped the tap root on some gel. (Its the one that came in the starter kit and will be pictured below) currently they are in tupperware with a heat mat under and 1 CFL bulb on top. I wanted to cover with ceramic wrap to hold moisture but i didnt have any last night. Ill get some today.. I also took the paper off of them so ill be wrapping them back up individually. I was going to use foil because i know that heat will attract the roots to the outside but im not sure if the babies can handle it so im still debating. I may do 2 foil and 2 plastic wrap to see if it makes a difference. Its all an experiment anyway.... 2 of the plants will go into 1gallon smart pots and the other 2 in 1 gallon plastic or air pots. I have not yet decided. But one of each pot will be in happy frog and the other 2 pots in ocean forest fox farm. I have not decided for sure which line of nutes i will use for this experiment. I have some samples on the was so i guess whichever i feel is enough to get me through the entire life cycle. Im hella excited to do this all. They will be kept under CFLs until i have my flower room clear out completely... This is an experiment so i dont want anything interfering. They will hopefully be in at least 5 gallon pots by the time i flower them. I wil probable end up sexing clones. But the veg is essential to flower so thats what this experiment is really all about. How can i have the most successful beg possible. Also, just so you'll know. I am a female. It came to my attention that most people here are males in my last thread. Advice comments, and w/e else experienced growers have to say or add or suggest is welcomed. Im still new to this. Happy growing guys! Ill be posting pictures as changes happen.
