Tips: How to keep the joint from burning unevenly?

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by DesiPrince1212, Jan 23, 2010.

  1. Hey everyone,

I was just looking for some tips from keeping the j from running or "canoeing" or simply burning unevenly. i usually use raw or element king size papers and make a small cone but ALWAYS the damned join runs unevenly till the middle and then its fine. i try and keep it even and straight while filling it but i was wondering there HAS to be something wrong i'm doing. thanks for your help

    thanks again.

  2. canoe side up

  3. Use your finger and dab some spit onto the fast side.

  4. my friend rolls amazing blunts, and they almost always burn kind of unevenly until the middle. I've also seen this with a lot of different people's rolled cigarettes. the only thing I do to my joints is just pack the weed in as tight as I can without fucking up the draw. I think it's just the way they burn.

  5. this^^

or roll better if thats the problem

Renenber HEAT RISES so if u find urself in a "heated" situation just make it the the running part is on the bottom so hte heat can rise and burn hte paper that needsto be burned:D

  6. great. thanks everyone for the fast responses. imma go "practice" bhahahah

  7. For joints, they canoe because the paper is too loose. I don't really know how to stop it other than roll better lol.

For blunts, when you spark them up, you should rotate it to get a nice, even burn.

  8. Evenly light the joint/blunt. I use a torch lighter when I light my blunts and I am no expert on rolling and mine burn even 95% of the time.

And with my torch lighter, if it is uneven I can just light that piece to even it up.

  9. I find that grinding it into something close to powder helps it burn evenly.

  10. If you're filling cones instead of rolling, your joints are always going to canoe. To get an even burning joint you have to roll it tight with the green distributed evenly.

  11. while your lighting it spin the blunt around that way every thing is burnt evenly
