Tips for finding connection in Minnesota?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Bissop, Feb 14, 2009.

  1. Does anyone have any tips for finding a safe, reliable connection in MN?

I moved to the twin cities recently and have had no luck in finding a local connection. Previous to the move I'd always had friends who could come through for me; without them I don't really know where to look.

    Tips, comments and flames welcomed.

  2. aww never say flames are welcome just setting yourself up for a downfall there.

Same thing most people will say, be paitent, keep an eye out, maybe goto an area that is known for being high, like lil 5 is down here in atl. Urban areas are good, alot of people smoke now days, just don't be dumb, and don't be scared to approach someone, but do it with the utmost respect and intelligence. That should get you some where, from there gotta do it all yourself.

  3. I live in the twin cities and I got a buddy that is close to the deal, and that dealer is close to the grower.. And I can tell you that grower is dank. He's got some fucking white widow that he cross bred so it's got orange and red hairs growin out of it

  4. Here's a few places to try:

The Uptown/Wedge area. Hennepin Ave. and Lake St. There are a couple of glass shops and it's populated by the young hip urban crowd. Lots of nightlife as well. Calhoun Square is a good place to start.

Warehouse district bars. I've been able to find a random gram now and then while out in this part of town.

Dinkytown. There is a headshop there called the Hideaway and you're practically in the middle of the U of M campus.

Downtown could be worth a shot as well, especially around Block E, but it also seems kinda sketchy to try to pick up there.

Those are the safest places I would think of going. The good safe connection? That comes with patience, but they're here.

  5. Walk around downtown with your peen hangin free!!!

And then go introduce yourself to people at parties/clubs/head shops with blood red eyes and try to spark a convo.

  6. you could also try st paul--macalester area down grand ave

  7. Thanks all for the tips and locations. I've just been feeling lost not knowing where to get started. Hopefully I'll get connected soon.

Been a long time anonymous lurker at grasscity and have found it to be a never ending knowledge base.

  10. congrats on al franken winning the senate seat!

  11. I don't think he's officially won yet, but it's just a matter of time...

  12. There's alot of "connections" in Minneapolis, that's for sure. It's just a matter of time for you to get one. Are you attending the U of M?

  13. Nope, not at the U. If I was still in college it wouldn't be a problem. Now that I'm a 'grownup' it's hard for me to make the connections.
