All grown in 4x4 raised beds filled with 100g of FFOF. Being fed once weekly with MaxSea Grow. I also have some smaller containers 25-45g

Im trying to keep them under my 6ft fence do you think i can do that or should i start adding on to my fence height now?

Photos were taken approximately 2-3weeks apart 6BCD101F-514A-4B4A-BD65-51C40FC43B00.jpeg 00B3DEAB-76E1-4E08-BBEB-933E08EFE254.jpeg

  3. Keep them underneath your fence height, start pulling them over and tying them down. You can keep him quite low if you can keep them at least 2 ft underneath your fence height before August 10th. You being pretty good shape when they go into flower. At flower time they'll stretch upwards of maybe 24 inches per stock and branch. Most only stretch around 13 14 in but they can stretch pretty long. That's how I do it though I pull them over I super crop them I top them and do many things to them I'm a master manipulator. And I also have a 6 foot high fence that I keep my plants underneath best I can anyways it's hard. My friends always laugh at me when I tell them I'm going to keep them underneath the fence this year. It's hard guarantee you but it's not to say it can't be done just got to be more vigilant than I usually am.

Manipulation is key trimming d-leafing tying them down staking them up staking them out using scrog nets. It only helps your crop become better. Not to mention when you're working outside and growing you'll be able to see any kind of infestation powdery mildew sickness and so on.

    Good luck man happy growing

  5. ffof is hot stuff I always advise adding 25% perlite or clean river sand to dilute those effects, add even more should you wish to add your own nute later
some gravel laid down over the dirt will prevent it all going to a mud bath once it rains

    good luck

  6. Thanks for the advice! Beautiful plants btw! Some branches are already getting passed the border of the planter im getting worried that they will start to cover each other if i keep tying out further so i wanted to start letting them grow up. Might have to figure out some other arrangement

  8. Agreed! I always place the sprouts in Happy Frog for that exact reason. Its been pretty forgiving to me so far and im already feeding. You are not the first person to advise mixing in more perlite i will probably do that next run for sure.

    Thank you..

    Your plants look good.
The spacing between your raised beds is a little close for growing cannabis... The cannabis plant can grow huge if you let it. But bigger is not always better ask any woman...

All jokes aside this is a true fact.
You're not going to be able to walk between them, they are going to overlap and there's not much you can do about it now, unless you grow them straight up or separate your raised beds.
That might be a little bit hard at this point for you and how you have your setup.
It's very nice looking setup looks awesome.
But you left no room to walk in between them hardly.

I thought I heard you say you're feeding them. What are you feeding them?

I put my plants at minimum 10 ft apart at the root base. I like them be farther apart than that but my farm's not big enough so around 10 ft 12 ft works pretty good. Then I pull them over in directions so they are less likely to overlap at all. I tried to pull them over so they all lean in the same direction so that I have approximately 10 ft that I can pull one plant over and it won't reach the other plant.
I also try to pull them over in the directions so they have the most opportunity for sunlight. So generally I'll pull the tops to the north so that the South side of the plant faces the Sun more so.

This year I'm trying to be more ornamental so to speak. So in these pictures below is my crop lay out this year.
There's three different plants that will be moved later on away from the row of plants and more into my yard.. I got a lot of stuff in my yard right now unfortunately I sold my property up north and I got a fifth wheel trailer a truck a little trailer and snowmobile just a bunch of stuff that's not supposed to be in my yard right now. I don't have room to put everything where I want to at this present time.
I made a hand truck that I can move my pots around with pretty easily. 40 gallon pots move pretty easily. I've moved the 65 gallon pot before with it but that's a chore.

So in these pictures I think you can kind of notice I've started pulling the plants in directions so that they really don't run into one another for quite some time. If I keep them low enough when it comes flower time then they'll start growing straight up, They'll still be below my fence top when they finally finish stretching.

I will also top all the branches many times between now and the end of July. Around July 30th August 1st I generally stop topping at that point but it's not to say that I can't top at that point because I can and you can too. But I generally stop around there depending on how tall my plants are.

As I said before in the upper post that I made a lot of my friends laugh at me because I tell them I'm trying to keep them small. LOL

It's hard to keep them small.

But I've found over the years that keeping them small and well-trimmed and pruned that we get the best AAA flower out of those plants that you possibly can.

I work for a commercial farmer

He practices everything that I'm talking about with you. The fruit that he grows is awesome. And he's 100% hydro inside.
He has an outside crop that I help him with of about 27 to 36 plants. This year I believe we're running 28.

    I'm a 100% organic grower.
I feed no chemicals of any kind to my cannabis crop. Everything is 100% natural.

I'm not a hydro guy at all. I make my own soil my own biochar and most of my own worm castings. I've used plenty of Fox farms organic soil products. Such as Ocean Forest Salamander soil, Happy frog, I don't know there's a few others. But I'll pick up anything at the nursery in the fall time that's made with organic soil. Because they have such good prices on them at that time of year.
