i was wondering if i could make the plants smaller. i dont have alot of space and i know the buds would be smaller but can you do it? i heard that most plants only get as big as the pot they're in. help please.
You can flower at any height you like. YOu can go single stalk or bend them down to minimize height. IT is pretty much up to your imagination as long as the plant has roots.
Check out this sticky: http://forum.grasscity.com/absolute-beginners/122936-how-lst-low-stress-training.html It explains LST (Low Stress Training) really well. Doing LST wil keep your plants nice and low and give you more developed bud sites in the process. Good luck.
yeah im growing inside of a computer. i can fit two plants and im using LST with light raising and SCROG. god it will own. will post pics and a tut with the schematics for the PC grow box. i <3 this forum so much. couldn't have dont it without it.
Your plants will eventually become root bound. Not sure if they will survive in a dixie cup for their entire life. It would keep them small, but the roots may get so tangled up that the plant ends up strangeling itself.
as long as you take care of the plants needs (light, water, nutrients, etc.) it will do fine small. bonsai trees are a good example of what i'm talking about...
there is a contest going on right now for this same thing except with smaller pots than that and they seem to be doing very well. http://forum.grasscity.com/grow-jou...e-all-grass-city-stadium.html?highlight=scrog personally i think it would work fine it just be alot of work for a lil bud but i dont depending on these guys grow goes i might not go very big either
Looks like I was wrong. That was an awesome thread. Talk about thinking outside the box. Thanks for turning me on to it.
