Tincture with Grain Alcohol

  1. I got some stems, some kief tablets, and some good green. What's the perfect alcohol/green ratio? And how long should it sit before you actually use it?

  3. if your doing alcohol its like 1 oz of alcohol to 1 gram i think? maybe 2 oz alcohol to 1 gram...fuck..
    anyway, i woulddef double boil it instead of letting it sit. i tried letting some sit once and drank it, nothing. it was bacardi 151 too. let it sit for over a month. :(

    Since I'm from Alabama I had access to high grain moonshine. It is fuckin terrific to double boil green. I only used .7 for a little under a shot worth, and got weed wasted all day.

    Mix it with coffee and you will thank me. Haha

    Depends on what you want, you can use as much as 5gr per fl oz, altough 5g will be pushing the limits of what the alcohol can absorb if its high grade, so 4g would be about just right. I use the one month waiting method and do a double boiler just before i extract, to get everything out

    you could use 1gr/fl oz and drink it in shots or you could use more and drink it in ml's added to some other fluid/food

    One oz of moonshine per about .7.
     
  8. Generally when you're making tinctures you use just a bit more medium than you have material. That is, as far as all the homemade and DIY guides I've seen. They'll put their material into a glass mason jar and then pour some medium over it until it's submerged by about an inch. Then double boil away.

    Another way to look at it like Purple is - Dose it out how you want to take it.
     

  9. so how long did you double boil it? like, what color was it after you cooked it, assuming the shine is clear before you started?
    im gonna be making some soon and would like to make a detailed thread on it. but i gotta get a good recipe.
     

  10. just google master wu's green dragon recipe. The only step you should follow is decarb at 325f for 5 mins, decarb for 20-30 mins at 220f depending on how fresh your herb is (the fresher the longer)

    or play the waiting game and decarb it, then let it sit for a month and drink it (or do a double boiler after that to get everything out)
