tincture by adding hash to alcohol

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by ElectricJW, Apr 8, 2013.

  1. Say you take an eighth and make hash (qwiso, butane oil, etc), then you just add it to the alcohol for a tincture. Would this tincture, be as strong as a regular tincture made from an eighth? Has anyone tried this before?

  2. To my knowlege, it would be relatively the same. It would make it more concentrated, which would make it absorb quicker and you wouldn't physically need as much liquid [dry herb soaks up alcohol], but the potential THC hasn't really changed, if anything it would make it ever so slightly weaker from whatever miniscule amount of THC is lost during the hash making process.
