Hey guys so I'm about 14 days from seed and not sure if it is time for me to tranfer them to something bigger roots are visible on side of cup but nothing drastic just visible if that makes sense.
Haha I accept your payment sir!! I think I would wait another week tops. Looks like they still got a bit of room in there but getting close to that time. Another week or so? Post an update after a couple days
I would wait until the plants are around the size of the containers or roots are coming out of the bottom But yes, ^^agreed they have a little bit more time in there

From the pic it looks like those are party cups? If they're about the same size your seedlings can stay in there plenty long, even up to 10 inches... Although I would transfer them to bigger pots when they're closer to 8 inches with 3-4 sets of leaves. Also, you really should place those clear cups inside non-clear cups or use foil tape around the cups. Light will damage your roots.
Appreciate the replies guys. Roots are already at the bottom but the cup isn't crowded with roots as mentioned. As for the tip of covering the roots with non clear ones thanks I had been thinking about that either way since algae seems to be growing on the side of the cups. But thanks for the heads up on the light damaging roots. Party cups were left over from my party with clown.
Also will it be cool if I move them from this container to my 3gal dirt bags
Sure will!
I just saw this for the first time here on GC I think it's a great idea because it allows you to monitor root growth by simply pulling one cup out of the other! But yea, algae and light are no good for roots! And yes, transfer from these cups straight into your final pot if at all possible. The less transfers throughout the plants life the better. Less stress
This is a good place to ask. If I have a plant that's outgrowing her container (party cup), with a full root ball, should I wait until it's dry, then slice off the outermost layer of root curls, then plant in her final home? She's still in veg.

Thank this guy. He's who I got the idea from.
So here we are...clone 1 with roots growing in really good at this point. I plan to transplant her either today or tomorrow... Clone 2 has a root starting to creep out. Both clones are 12 days from day of cut. I also have separate cups that have black tape on them so that can pull these cups out from time to time in order to view the roots growing.
