time for new ph meter?

    i think its broken....it wont go any lower than 8.02 even when i put the 7.01 buffer in.....any recomendations for a new ph meter? hydro use, reliable, etc. thanks.

    From exprerience I can tell you the cheap ones are just that. I use a Milwaukee...its my second one (dont step on it). Get it on ebay tho. I bought mine at a local grow store for $79 but I have seen them on ebay around. If this one doesnt get bid up soon I may snatch it unless you want it..lol. Be sure to get the waterproof (blue one) not the cheaper (yellow) one.

    damn i just bought a hanna ph meter.....are they good as far as reliablitity?

    afaik hanna is a respectable quality. not the best but still good. i'm about to buy a hanna ph/tds combo meter myself
