Why do I still live in the south? It's amazing how people in Texas consider this state the "future" of the USA's economic growth and job market. Yet the majority of our laws are based off of the Progressive Era. If the Progressive Era was progressive for early 20th century, then why do we continue to follow such laws a century later? Have we not progressed as a society, or do we as a nation hold ourselves in the same regard as we did in World War One?
