TI pad quality?

  1. tl;dr - bought a no name Ti curve, need to tell if it is quality or not.

Not sure if this should be in vaporizers or not, as technically it is vaping and I believe tokecity uses their vape forum for ti talk.

Anyways, my dudes have been making some killer oil, and being from bumfuck Iowa it's a rare thing I get to get any. The last batch was such high quality I had to buy a rig for it, so I stopped at the shop right before I got into town. The shop has tons of nice stuff by reputable blowers, first place I've seen electro copper formed awesomeness.

Anyways, i grabbed a small bong and ti curve. Is there any way to tell if the titanium is of high quality? The piece is made very well, cost 50, and works amazingly well. Discoloration looks normal to me, but it is my first ti pad. No smoke rolling off or anything..

    Thanks, blades.

  2. No way to really tell but as long as it didnt look like you were burning off a layer of residue when heating your pad your probably fine but youll really be able to tell the more you use it and it gets worn in

  3. unless grade 2 i find TI sketchy due to oxidation, id go with a cheap glass nail and dome set of etsy.
