Thrips Infestation (BAD) 2 Weeks to Harvest - Still Smokeable?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Consumption Q&A' started by SmokemifuGotem, Jul 14, 2013.

  1. So I was on vaca for a couple weeks and a buddy was watering my plants. When I got home and looked at the girls they are covered in spots which I have since diagnosed to being thrips. Some leaves are 50% coloured from the amount of damage these little B@st&erds have done. I have sprayed the entire plant with Scotts Ecosense Bug B Gone http://vhttp://www.scotts.ca/smg/goprod/ecosense-bug-b-gon-insecticidal-soap/prod10420011/ . I am about 2 weeks to harvest and will probably give it one more treatment. So heres my questions:

    1) Has anyone used this product before? It is ment for consumable foods will it be safe when smokeing?

    2) Whether or not this stuff works there will still be dead or alive thrips and there $hit in the buds/leaves. Is it still okay to smoke?

    Thanks guys!
