I have Thrip's on my plant that in 7 weeks into flower. The plant started to yellow a lot, and I thought it was just because it was flowering but now I think it's because of the Thrip's that I discovered. Anyway, is there anything I can do this late in flower? Are these buds going to be smokable?

  2. Thrips are a pain in the ass, but as far as pests go they are fairly benign. They hatch in the soil and eat the surface layer off the leaves, but usually leave the buds alone and will have little to no affect on your final product..... Your crop will be fine.

If you are planning on flowering for a few more weeks you could do a light dose spray of "Green Light Neem", but if your closer than that I wouldn't spray anything. You could put up some yellow sticky traps to catch the "flyers".

  3. Alright thanks. I have some younger plants I might spray if the strips don't work.

  4. If you are in vege or the first few weeks of bloom you can us the Pyrethrum bombs.

I have battled thrips a fair bit, and now always add predator nematodes during vege and do a pyrethrum bomb before flipping to 12/12.

  5. I have plants of about all stages in my box

  6. I'd go ahead and get some nematodes and then get the young ones on a Green light Neem regime.

The neem can build up on your leaves and clog the stomata, so I alternate Neem sprays with Kelp. This works great as a mild foliar feed and helps keep the leaves 'breathing'. I spray every 3-4 days, up until about 2-3 weeks from harvest.

  7. no pest strips worked for me. no bugs at all.

u got black spots on the plant? its POO.... u can spray water to clean and knock off adults. just be sure not to let ur buds go into dark cycle wet. mold will form.

    peace and gl
