Thread Consolidation

    Hey hard working moderators of Grass City - got a question for ya!

    Can you guys start consolidating threads that are pretty much the same subject?

    For example: there are currently 24 threads with the words "Michael Phelps" in the title. TO me that's about 20 too many.

    That's just one example, but I really see the same topic over and over and over and over...

    The problem with consolidating threads is that it tends to destroy their continuity thereby making them very garbled and difficult to follow. And once a thread has been garbled in a stoner forum it's tantamount to a death sentence.

    Yeah, didn't think of that. Well, maybe more duplicate threads could be deleted with a link back to the original thread? I know it's work, but it would make regular readers happy.

    I think it's just common courtesy for users to use the search button before posting their topic.

    We're going to start killing duplicate threads, soon, I guess.

    It would just be so much better if users could respect the City a bit more and do a simple search to see if their topic is out there already before posting.
