Space is amazing...To my knowledge the only alien life found to this point has been bacteria and other microscopic organisms.  My theory has always been that if an advanced civilization exists out there we will likely never meet them, because they are advanced which implies they are probably peaceful and further would imply that they use said technology/thought process to stay as far away from Earth as virtually possible.
 
I mean, if I lived in a peaceful solar system I surely wouldn't want to visit a war-torn one.

 

I feel that there is definately even some other human inhabited planets out there. But when you think about it there is only two crazy possibilities, there is, or there isnt.

 

Somewhere i read that the closest star to us out of the billions there are we wont even reach until the year 77000 most likely. Thats crazy lol.

 

i never think about this shit but i just finished "sphere" by michael chrichton (he wrote timeline and jurassic park). awesome book you should read if you like aliens, sunken space ships, giant squid, and plots where characters suffer extreme paranoia and cant trust eachother
