THO pure cannabis extract and glycerin

    Sorry if this is duplicated somewhere. Please point me to the right place.

    My mother-in-law is dying. She has been using medical marijuana for about a year. She does not smoke, and I have been making brownies for her. She is now having difficulty eating anything even though 1/4 of a 1 inch brownie would deliver about 20 mg thc, it's just too difficult for her to swallow.

    For the past week or so, we have administered a sublingual glycerin tincture. It takes about 40 drops for a dose with the glycerin tincture that we have. So we want to make it stronger and yet still taste good enough for her to use. She doesn't always keep that much under her tongue for very long, and she also has trouble swallowing.

    Today we got 1/3 g of pure cannabis extract, and I have food grade glycerin.

    Can I just add the extract to the glycerin?

    I'd like to be able to give her 10 drops or less if possible.

    Hon, you need to talk to WildWill or BadKittySmiles. they know their way around glycerin tinctures than I do.

    The pure cannabis extract? Are you talking about RSO/Phoenix Tears? Black, tarry-looking stuff? I know that it mixes much more easily with oil when warmed slightly.

    I have also seen RSO placed between 2 small bits of dark chocolate to improve the flavor.

    The package just says "pure cannabis extract," and it's called "Green Crack."
    Looks like an oil, but I haven't opened it.
    Made in Denver.
    Says it is .33 grams by weight.

    It would be helpful to know what your treating. If your Green Crack is any form of Hash Oil it can be mixed up to about 50:50 with oil if you want it that strong, I mix my asthma medicine between 10:1 Oil:Hash Oil and 5:1. Badkittysmiles likes Coconut oil best and just a pinch of Soy Lethicin. Mixes easily between 140 to 160 Deg. F. No real point going higher than that.

    You can also mix it into a moisturizing body lotion and rub it on the skin if you're treating pain, MS or can't eat. Ointments are & lotions are particularly good ways to put the dose close to what you are trying to treat if you have the chance.

    Thanks for the reply.
    Treating severe arthritic pain and depression.
    Talked to the manufacturer today and found out the thc content in this batch is 75% so .1 mm (a drop the size of the head of a pin) is 25 mg of thc. Decided to just give her one drop three or four times a day. I tried it, and it has a mild flavor. It will just dissolve in her mouth, and she won't have to really swallow anything.

    Make sure to keep her up on her Omega fats during treatment to avoid complications. I like Hemp Seed Butter think peanut butter and naturally oily Salmon best my self.
