First off I'm not sayin' we got it bad, but to many, this is a Big Loss.

In the North end of Toronto there used to be an active Canadian Forces Base. On Sunday morning, an explosion rocked the city as a poorly operated propane facility exploded into one huge fireball, spreading asbestos for nearly 10 km in either direction.

This facility was massive, for Canadian standards.

That's the You-Tube link. Look Closely, those flying fireballs shooting off around the explosion site are really refrigerator sized propane tanks.

If you search the local news casts there is great footage as well.

    CBC
    CTV
    CP24
CITY TV - just to name a few.

The initial explosions moved homes from foundations. and shattered windows for kilometers. Thank however that this happened at 4am, everyone was in their back rooms sleeping and safe, if ANYONE was outside, in their kitchens, living rooms, they would have got seriously injured by flying steel and glass. This gave many the chance to run for their lives as flying fuel and further explosions rock time and again.

Furthermore, a debate continues about insulation grade granular and rock asbestos. Now although the explosion spreads this over a large area, it is a safe asbestos for cleanup and removal, if done properly and educated.

Worried citizens, uneducated about the grades of asbestos, and what actually causes cancers like mesithelioma. :devious:

  3. The woman, i think she was the councilour is a total embarassment. She cant handle pressure and spoke to very concerned citizens with no consideration at all. That woman doesnt deserve to be in that power.

And i really cant say if the asbestos were serious enough, but I cant blame the people for acting out. One of the doctors there say that there is no test available to check and the chance of getting cancer for a one time exposure to asbestos is really low.

  4. There is a test, but you might wanna be dead for it.

  5. Vids don't work. All I see is code.

  6. ooold news dude. I think I heard it but I might have been dreaming or I thought it was lightening.
