Basically all the UC's having been raising tuition cost and now want to raise it by another 8-16% , along with more "cutbacks" in funding for school improvements and stuff. BUT they just recently Ok'd more raises and bonuses for TOP administrators at the schools. "Among the bonuses was $744,950 for the 10-campus system's chief investment officer, Marie Berggren, for her performance last year. Combined with Berggren's $470,000 salary, the bonus will bring her 2010-11 pay to more than $1.2 million." That bonus is completely unnecessary, all that does is support and lavish lifestyle which is unneeded.
yeah dude, they need to do so many program cutbacks at the UC's but they're just handing hour 700k bonuses to employees at already make almost half a million. Yet its the paying students and the campus thats suffering from the cutbacks. I guess is community college for me now
