  1. and i was reading the dolomite lime wiki page and read, "Because dolomite contains relatively minor quantities of radioactive materials, it can insulate against interference from cosmic rays without adding to background radiation levels". And I couldn't tell if I thought that was a good thing or a bad thing. I mean on one hand, the radiation reduction would reduce mutagenicity of the plant and thereby maybe reducing its evolution? I also considered the oposite and figured it could be good for maintaining heirloom names. Can anyone interpret this link that its attached to?
