Viparspectra 450V(around 200w from wall) Bestva1000w (around 185w from wall) These are what I have, no returns, no buying more, no ifs or hind sight moments, this is what I’m working with in a 2x2x4, so please no bashing or telling me what lights I should have got..... I’ll be honest, I have too many plants for the space. But what I’m banking on is a male or two. I have two clones 2 weeks into flowering looking beautiful. I have, 6 babies that sprouted the 1st of Dec. Those 6 are bag seed grow. I know, one plant can produce as much as 6 if I finesse it right, but that’s not what I knew when I started. So I’m trying not to give up any unless they sprout balls. Anyway, I just barley got the Viparspectra, and was thinking of running one light red(bloom only), and the other red/blue(Veg/bloom). My question is, has anyone dealt with a “too much light” scenario from L.E.D?
I noticed the lights are both purple when on. Is purple not so ideal? I even threw in two cfl 27000k at the bottom. Is that a waste of space?
Get all the switches on mate. No point going half measures with the blurples. I use similar old mars tech but mine are 240w. Can get decent yields with them no worries. ain’t gonna break any records but they’ll do you just fine don’t try to cover too much space with em. Keep the canopy as even as you can so you can get them closer to the plants. I’ve had problems with too much light once. Was taking the piss with it though and had 4x 240w on the one plant lol. I wouldn’t worry about it
