This is why I am opposed to social programs. Give somebody else your money and they'll be much more liberal with spending it, it's just human nature. You don't get this with private industry because the company is going to want to have a conference for as little as possible, since it cuts into their profits. These bureaucrats probably get a fat budget every year and decided for the hell of it to see how much they could possibly spend on a party with public money.

I'm saying this is an example of the mindset people are in when they simply receive a budget instead of grossing income like a private enterprise. It's an out there example of how bureaucrats waste money. If the CEO of a company wants to be a baller and throw a huge expensive party then at least it's with his money and not mine and yours.
Does anyone actually give the government their money? Giving implies voluntary action. Taxation is involuntary. All money acquired by the government is essentially stolen or printed.
