Does anyone dispute that this is where we are rapidly headed? Ive bolded and put italics to the parts that really stand out. and interjected my own thoughts in red.
its just sad no matter how much you understand about what the government is really up to and how our world is going to shit wtf are YOU going to do ya know were just a single person. I mean yes there might be extremes you could go to, to make a difference but really ask yourself.... are you?
There are five things that hurt the people: 1. There are local officials who use public office for personal benefit, taking improper advantage of their authority, holding weapons in one hand and people’s livelihood in the other, corrupting their offices, and bleeding the people. 2. There are cases where serious offenses are given light penalties; there is inequality before the law, and the innocents are subjected to punishment, even execution. Sometimes serious crimes are pardoned, the strong are supported, and the weak are oppressed. Harsh penalties are applied, unjustly torturing people to get at facts. 3. Sometimes there are officials who condone crime and vice, punishing those who protest against this, cutting off the avenue of appeal and hiding the truth, plundering and ruining lives, unjust and arbitrary. 4. Sometimes there are senior officials who repeatedly change department heads so as to monopolize the government administration, favoring their friends and relatives while treating those they dislike with unjust harshness, oppressive in their actions, prejudiced and unruly. They also use taxation to reap profit, enriching themselves and their families by exactions and fraud. 5. Sometimes local officials extensively tailor awards and fines, welfare projects, and general expenditures, arbitrarily determining prices and measures, with the result that people lose their jobs. These five things are harmful to the people, and anyone who does any of these should be dismissed from the office.
Not alone because that would obviously be foolish suicide but if, or with any luck when, there is finally an uprising and enough real Americans to take back this country, you can bet your ass Ill be right there on the front lines. The hardest part will be the fact that our crooked government will have the ability to use our own military against us by twisting the truth and claiming that Americans are the terrorists and the government that has taken over are in the right. We can only pray that if it comes down to that, a good percent of the military will see the light and join the revolt instead.
Many similarities yeah, but also vast differences. I'm in no way "absolutely thrilled" with where this country appears to be headed, but I think Americans will revolt before we get close to Totalitarianism, ...at least, I hope.
Maybe not yet but the collective powers that be are becoming one big Stalin. We already have a Socialist president and a system that rapes the people more and more each day. Its only a matter of time unless something is done.
i feel Americans today are to lazy to ever have a revolution were happy living in our protected world with our Ipods.
i'm thinking brazil sounds like a nice place, dont know too much about it though i'm afraid. maybe go to one of those islands off of australia, forgot what they're called, though they have been made into tourist traps lately.
shit, why you hatin on stalin? maybe i shouldn't say anything.....last time people were neg repping for stalin. I grew up in the ussr, and trust me on this, you guys are not yet there. Slowly working your way. And if it wasn't for Joseph Visarionavich Stalin, ussr and russia would've never become a superpower, never would've beat the germans in ww2 either.
Don't stress about the politics. Everything is a screen to keep you from seeing that the world is ending. Keep spending, keep working. Ignore the signs around you. YOU SAW NOTHING!!
