This is how I started smoking, need help?

    about 2 years ago i had gotten a sewere back injury i was in extreme pain weed def. helped the pain before and after the surgery which i had a year ago. since the surgery i still have tension in my back and my sciatic nerve, and now i smoke pot and it helps me relieve the nerve pain and inflamation and helps me relax.

    i have been thinking about getting a prescription but i was hesitating because i am in college and get financial aid, so i am not sure if getting a prescription for weed might void financial aid for me. at the moment i feel like i deserve a prescription but i dont how i should go about it, btw i am in los angeles, california.

    any help would be appreciated

    I think your financial Aid is only void for drug crimes/felonies, getting something prescribied is definitely not a drug crime, so you should go for it man. Go see a doctor about it, he might prescribe vicodin at first, I;d take that then go in a few weeks later and tell him you are afraid to get addicted to opiates, then talk about medical marijuana with your doctor.

    i am 100% sure that my doc would never even consider mj. so i definitly need to go to a different doc, perheps u guys can suggest me a doctor who has previously given a prescription, so i know for sure that he is pro mj.
