that's a really nice pic....is it an oil painting...it looks just like somewhere i know in Scotland....Peace out....Sid
This phenomenal picture was taken in Bitterroot National Forest in Montana on August 6, 2000. The photographer, John McColgan, is a fire behavior analyst from Fairbanks, Alaska. He took the picture with a digital camera. Because he was working at the time he took the picture, he cannot profit from it; however, he feels the picture is a once-in-a-lifetime shot and should be shared. i thought it was a cool pic.
That..... that's amazing.... Thankyou daisyduked for posting this I was tempted to set it as my desktop background... but I think it will spoil the picture..... Wow
One of the engineers I work with has it set as his background. I can never go by it without stopping for a good stare.
breath-taking! it took me a minute to see what the picture was. at first it looked like the sunset, until i focused. it doesn't look real. thanks for sharing!!!
WELL.........WOW im a pyro so naturally that blows me away..i plan on being a firefighter, so even better i love fire because it completely destroys, yet rejuvinates at the same time. short, simple,to the point.
Wow, ZIA... Is that photo doctored...? It looks as if it is, cos the sky is sooooo blue! It's still an amazing picture though
