More than likely Yes. Give it a little more time tho just in case.. another week isn't gonna hurt anything. Become familiar with a male plant.
Thanks for the reassurance. The tree definitely turned out to be male as it kept growing balls in stems with no white hairs, so I removed it. I have one more that I'm betting is female. They were seeded at the same time. This one is much shorter with less spacing between internodes and its week 6 with no sign of sex.
