So a female friend of mine works at this coffeeshop, and she texted me if I could pick her up since she was done workin.. I said okay so I walked over there and when I came in she was sitting at a table smoking a joint, so I go buy a bag and sit next to her and start rolling one. We we're sitting in front of the place where you can purchase weed and I took maybe 4 or 5 hits from my joint, and this guy walks in... I assumed he was a traveller or a bum since he had this huge backpack with him with a sleepingbag on top and everything. The guy asked for 20euro's weed and while the boy at the other side of the bar was preparing his bag, this guy takes his backpack off and he opens it and he pulls out this big ass glass jar, no kidding, a foot long and 4-5 inches wide, filled with 1,2 and 5 cent coins and he puts that on the bar.. I'm like.. what the fuck.. just as the guy working there.. There was a whole discussion that he needed to change that because he didn't have the time to count it and this traveller/bum said thats all he's got, and there are more customers behind him.. After a 5 minute discussion, and a few customers later, the guy says yeah okay I'll take it, probably because he was delaying everything.. So this guy looks for an empty table and drops his backpack there, and then he walked to another bar where you can buy drinks, which was also in my sight, and the douche pulls out a few 50euro bills, and a 5 euro bill to pay for his drink.. My friend wanted to make a problem about this, and force him to take his pile of coins back, and give a 20bill instead, but I was just smokin the first one of the day and I was all chill and relaxed so I said no fuck that just stay with me you dont have to count it so dont worry. But what the fuck!! Too bad I didn't had a camera with me haha..
Loool i would been pissed if i had to count that money, wouldve taken ages haha. I know this has nothing to do with the thread but could you plz tell me about the laws changing on foreign ppl buying weed in coffee shops? Like will it really be that strict? Im turning 18 this month but i dont think ill have a chance to visit the dam after the laws have changed... Has your friend spoke to you about it at all? And i bet all the shops are so worried for the all loss of money thats going to occur?
